ACA full-time equivalent employee (FTE) calculator in excel.

In this video we will show you how to calculate the full time equivalent (FTE) for the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The Affordable Care Act requires all groups with 50 or more employees to provide health insurance. Part time employees count towards the 50 employee threshold.

In other words, if you have 30 full time employees and 60 part time employees, the full time equivalent of your part time employees could put your group over 50 employees.
